This morning we drove down to Mendocino and I went to church. Afterward, we walked around the shops and had lunch. We didn't get any pictures there but we took Tess for a walk when we got back. It was a beautiful, sunny day. Unfortunately, we head home tomorrow and it's supposed to be rainy.

Westport, CA
Saturday night, we stopped in Westport which is about 20 miles north of For Bragg and we are staying at a campground right on the beach.
Eureka, CA
On Friday night, we stopped in Eureka and went to dinner at the Samoa Cookhouse. The food is served family style at an old logger's camp cookhouse--very fun. On the way to Eureka, we saw this herd of elk in the water.

Tess enjoying the water near our site |
We had one heck of a storm yesterday--we had around 2 inches of rain and the wind just howled. We are in a site right on the water so we didn't have any protection. Today was gorgeous and all the more so in comparison to yesterday. We drove down the Oregon coast and just stopped at nice views. We also stopped at Sea Lion Caves but didn't really see any. We took Tess down to the water a couple of times so she could wear off the energy she had from not getting out much yesterday. It was a nice day.

Tillamook, Oregon
We only drove about 1.5 hours today and stopped here to take a tour of the Cheese Factory. We didn't see much but we did have some Tillamook ice cream. :)The weather is awful--it is pouring rain and very windy. We expect more of the same tomorrow.

Port Angeles, WA
Today, we drove through a very small portion of Olympic
National Park. It is a very beautiful place and mostly you can only drive around the perimeter so we weren't able to see very much. I've wanted to come here for a long time and it wasn't a disappointment.

Vancouver, BC
We stayed in Bellingham, near the Canadian border Sunday and Monday nights. Our RV park did not have wi-fi as advertised so we haven't been able to add pictures. We drove to Vancouver yesterday and had a very nice time. We saw the steam clock in the old section of town, Gastown and it was pretty cool. Tess really wanted to swim but there were too many people around. It was a beautiful day and it was Thanksgiving Day in Canada so everyone was out enjoying the weather.
