Minneapolis

Today, we drove into Minneapolis and we've decided we've had enough of big cities. The Twins had a day game and there wasn't anywhere to park so we went to the Mall of America. It was huge but not as huge as we expected. We had lunch and walked around some. We were going to drive north to Minot, ND but both RV parks there are under water so another change in plans. We'll post pictures.

Wisconsin Dells

We had a nice day--we took a tour of the Wisconsin Dells on an amphibious Duck. We'd never been on one before and it was fun. This area is the Waterpark Capital of the World and it is full of tacky stores, waterparks and amusement parks. We were only going to stay one night but since the weather is nice and there's lots to see, we are going to stay an extra night. It'll be nice to relax.

Chicago-Friday

We drove into Chicago but we weren't able to see a whole lot. We drove around downtown, out to Wrigley Field, then stopped to have some pizza. Chicago wasn't a very good idea for a stop--staying so far away made it difficult to do much. We are glad to be out of big cities and headed west.

Indiana Dunes--Thursday

We left Michigan Wednesday morning for Chicago. The closest RV park was 60 miles east of Chicago in Indiana and it was horrible. We did visit the Indiana Dunes on Lake Michigan and it was very beautiful.
