Prince Edward Island-Friday

We drove to Prince Edward Island on Friday. We just walked around Charlottetown and had lobster rolls for lunch. Tess has been fascinated by real cows on this trip so we had to take pictures at Cows Creamery. It cost $44.50 just to cross the bridge but they only charge to leave!

Moncton, New Brunswick--Thursday

When we arrived here on Thursday, it was early so we drove over to see the Bay of Fundy which has the most extreme tides. It was high tide at the time we were there.

Fredericton, New Brunswick--Wednesday

We finally have w-fi after 4 days without. We drove into Canada on Wednesday and stayed at a nice place right on St. John's river.

Bar Harbor, Maine

We were planning to drive through Acadia
National Park but it won't open until May 17 due to sequestration. Really. So, we walked around Bar Harbor and ate lobster.

Our RV park is right on the water.

North of Freeport

We drove about an hour north of Freeport to Reid State Park and had a picnic lunch and Tess went swimming. It was a cool but beautiful day.

Freeport Maine

We spent Friday and Saturday in Freeport, shopping and eating lobster rolls.

We took a drive out to the water and Tess was freaked out by the moving dock.

Finger Lakes -- Wednesday, May 1

We were in Watkins Glen in the Finger Lakes region of New York for a couple of days. We wanted to hike the Watkins Glen Gorge but the trail doesn't open until mid May so we drove to another area and found Taughannock Falls. We had NY pizza for lunch and it was delicious.

Our RV park was huge and they gave the space directly next to us to another couple.
