We've had problems with wi-fi so we're a little behind. Last Thursday, we took a day off to take care of housekeeping duties. The service for my mom was on Friday and it was very nice. A Marine took her ashes to the site and a chaplain said several prayers and scripture passages. There were 13 of us altogether--family and friends. After the service, we went to lunch and had a wonderful visit. We hadn't seen my brother Darryl since last summer and several of my cousins, Bill and Lynn live in Virginia and they came and we haven't seen each other in over 30 years. It was way too short and left us wanting to get together again soon. It was a very emotional day.
