We went to Grant's Farm on Saturday morning just to see the Budweiser Clydesdales. It turns out that the farm was once owned by President U.S. Grant and A. Busch bought the property for his home and turned it into a mini zoo. We took a tram ride through an area with zebra, deer, antelope and many other animals. At the end, they have others on display. It was very pleasant but the clydesdales were the best. They are such beautiful animals.
For lunch, we went to a rib place that someone had recommended. There was a line at 11:15 in the morning and we waited 40 minutes to place our order. What a place. And the barbecue was great.
After lunch, we toured the Anheuser-Busch brewery which wasn't worth it. The old buildings were interesting but we really didn't see any of the processes. And as hot as it was, we were miserable. We were glad for the beer at the end. Coors and Ranier have a much better tours.
