Louisville, KY

We have a very nice day in Louisville. First, we went to Churchill Downs and visited the Kentucky Derby Museum. It was very interesting but the best part was going out to the track and watching the jockeys practice riding the horses. We were very impressed. We also took pictures of Perfect Drift who finished third in the 2002 Derby. The most amazing thing we learned is that 100,000 people pay $40 to be on the infield on Derby day and they have no seat and can't even see the race. Then, we went to the Louisville Slugger Museum and factory. We took a tour to see how the bats are made--it was hot and noisy. I'd hate to be on display while I worked. But it was very interesting.

  1. You look like a tiny tine fly next to that bat. Cool photos.
